weekendje utrecht en amsterdam

jaja de blog is on tour, we gaan heel NL door. Vrijdag was het de eer aan Utrecht ekko om ons te vermaken en dat hebben ze gedaan in de vorm van de release party van Jae (stropstrikkers).
Het was nogal een hel om er te komen, de tomtom + omleiding werkte niet mee,
maar toen we er waren was het aan! Heb niet veel van de optredens gezien eigelijk,
beetje buiten gechilld enzo maar avi en 3wise kwamen opzich wel leuk, vooral het nummer
met keynote speakers kon me wel bekoren. Verder was ook de accapella goed, over slavernij en koelies. Verdomd met vrouwelijke mc Tamere en nog een gast was zien en hoorbaar beter maar te kort.
Jae bracht ook een dope show en het enige wat ik nog wil zeggen U U U U U Utca!

Daarna was het tijd voor Rock the bells in Heineken music hall te Amsterdam.
We waren eerst naar de freshcotton uitverkoop geweest maar dat was zo’n rij, niet te doen!
Dus wij beetje eten, drinken, mediamarkt en hup naar de hmh.
We hebben 3 kwartier in de rij gestaan in de regen maar we hebben wel niks gemist min of meer
tenmiste….we kwamen aan tijdens the fringe bij de NL stage en dat klonk opzich best goed.
Algerino had aanhorenlijk een slechte mic en er liepen chicks met reclameborden on stage met zijn webiste, nee dat moet je niet doen als artiest……..
Daarna was het de eer aa MOD en ciph barker om een veelste lege zaal te gaan rocken.
Maar ze deden het wel goed, vooral bildenberg werd gewardeerd door de mensen die er wel waren.

Hup snel naar de usa stage waar EPMD inmiddels bezig was, door de rotte tijd + drukte
zagen we steeds het begin van de act niet jammer. Maar des te min rockte EPMD wel,
ik kende niet veel nummers maar Da Joint, Headbanger en het materiaal van het nieuwe album
‘We Mean Business’ viel in de smaak.Nadat we wat gegeten, gedronken hadden en
naar een lege NL stage liepen, tijdens de usa acts was dit voor ons elke keer het geval dat de NL
stage leeg was…..kwamen we binnen bij the pharcyde, drop e runnin hebben we gemist
We hadden ook nog even bij de platen stand gekeken en bij die van fame.
Als de stands iets langer waren gebleven had ik termanalogy meegnomen maar het mocht niet baten.
Toen we terug kwamen was verrassings act pharoahe monch bezig met het prachtige let;s go en het nog mooiere simons says, buckwildin!
De la soul was ook dope met ooh ooh ooh ooh.

Van Mos def ken ik ook niet zo veel maar Travelin man kende ik wel. Verder was de show
best muziekaal vooral het reggea gedeelte viel in de smaak
Bij Nas hebben we hiphop is dead en hero gemist maar we hebben wel de illmatic en it was written medley gezien en die rockte hij dope. Ook het nummer van The firm kwam goed uit de voeten.
Made you look kwam nog beter uit de voeten, mijn favo nas nummer!-c-c-c–classic zoals heel de show
van nas, jammer dat hij alles maar 2 verses deed maar was cker dope. Ook hustlers van zijn
hiphop is dead album kwam aan bod.Tijdens one mic haalde hij niet alles maar het was cker wel
een geslaagd einde.Boven ging de NL stage verder met cartes en kleine jay die eigelijk
beter waren dan bij DVD ook omdat het nu later was. De zaal was inmiddels i.p.v. te leeg nu
te druk eigenlijk. Hef en turk kwamen ook leuk met het nieuwe nummer ik kan alleen maar winnen.
En dat was het einde voor ons van een leuke maar toch een avond die nog heel wat minpunten had
vanuit de organisatie zoals de ontbrekende dj, de tijden en NL acts tijdens de usa acts.
Het was leuk maar het had nog leuker kunnen zijn.

weer 2 dope feestjes,dvd,rock the bells

We feesten door,we springen van hot naar her als de kermit kikker van het zuiden

Ik heb het al vaak gezegd en ik blijf het zeggen:
26 okt,30 acts,3 zalen,013,aan!pitten gegarandeerd,kapotlos!
Degene die bij dvd10 waren weten waar ik over praat.
Degene die er niet bij waren krijgen een herkansing.
Als je er niet bij ben,ben je vierkan,ge ken beter je kaartje gaan kopen
want shit wordt uitverkocht!

Nadat je bent bijgekomen of nog niet
kan je 1 november naar heineken music hall te amsterdam voor Rock the bells.
Het USA spektakel is naar NL gekomen,nadat splash dit vorig jaar had gedaan in de melkweg,
is het deze keer de eer aan rock the bells.

De Bevestigde namen voor het Nederlandse podium zijn de volgende artiesten: Winne, Salah Edin, Blaxtar, MOD en DiceCream. Het Nederlandse podium zal geopend worden met een “talent hour” bestaande uit: The Fringe (TMF Kweekvijfer), Zwart Licht en Algerino. Het Nederlandse podium zal tevens worden afgesloten door een keiharde Missin Link package bestaande uit: Jawat, Cartes & Kleine Jay en Turk & Hef.

DJ’s Switch, DJ Funkstar en DJ Turne zullen de Nederlandse zaal op zn kop zetten. De host voor het Nederlandse podium zal deze avond QF zijn. Verder zal op de mainstage van dit spectaculaire festival de meest constante DJ die ons land kent DJ TLM, achter de ‘ones-and-two’s plaatsnemen. Dit alles tussen de optredens van werelds grootste Hip Hop legendes als Nas, Mos Def, EPMD, The Pharcyde en De La Soul.
